The Gathering takes place at Bannock Point, which is considered part of the Manitou Api in the Whiteshell Provincial Park, Manitoba
Since time immemorial our nations have gathered on our sacred sites. They gathered to share knowledge, medicines, ceremonies, and prophecies. Come and share your vision for the future of our people.
The Elders have sanctioned the 5th Annual Igniting the Fire – The Sacred Gathering. Following the protocol of the old ways, the Elders will transfer their knowledge to youth and adults. This year's focus: Kichi Mamawibiitawewin: The Great Gathering of All who Bring Voices of Sacred Knowledge from All Over the Sacred Circle from the 4 Directions.
Bring your chair, donation, and a dish for the potluck feasts Sept 13 and 16 at noon!
Donations to the Giveaway (cash or a gift) are accepted.

From Ontario, take the Trans Canada Highway (Hwy 1) to Hwy 11. Turn North on Hwy 11,
until you reach Hwy 44 at Whitemouth. Continue on Hwy 11 for a couple of miles
until you reach Hwy 307, where you make a right.
From Winnipeg (takes approx. 2 hours), go north on Hwy 59 to Hwy 44 (Beausejour exit).
Turn right onto Hwy 44, keep going. You will reach Hwy 12 – turn right
and then immediately left back onto Hwy 44, all the way to Hwy 11.
Turn left onto Hwy 11, continue a couple of miles to Hwy 304, where you make a right.
The entry point to the park is PR 307 at Seven Sisters Falls.
Drive approx 20-30 minutes,
pass Pinewood Resort on the right, pass the entrance to the Petroforms on the left.
Turn left onto the street just after the Petroform parking area.
