ABOUT the 5th Annual Igniting the Fire Gathering

WHEN: September 13th to 16th, 2010

WHERE: Sacred Site of Manitou Api at Bannock Point ~

Whiteshell Provincial Park ~ Manitoba ~ Canada

OUR FOCUS: Seeking advice & direction from the

Elders who follow our traditional ways.

 

Since time immemorial our nations have gathered on our sacred sites.

They gathered to share knowledge, medicines, ceremonies and prophecies.

Come and share your vision for the future of our people!

The Elders have sanctioned the 4th Annual Igniting the Fire Gathering.

Following the protocol of the old ways, the Elders will transfer their knowledge to youth and adults.

Some of the discussions that Elders might address at Igniting the Fire include:

 

ADMISSION IS BY DONATION.

All proceeds will support the Igniting the Fire Gathering.

Participants are responsible for their own Travel and Accommodation.

Food Vendors will be available On-site.
